The RecyMedic thermolysis unit is capable of disposing of a wide range of waste and transforming its contents into electricity, heat and economically recoverable raw materials. Thanks to its dimensions and flexible installation, it can be placed directly at the point of waste generation, thus creating an ideal cycle of energy self-sufficient operations, buildings and areas. This technology can therefore process the waste produced in one specific place and transform its energy potential into energy needs (heat, electricity, recharging electric car batteries etc.) of the particular place, building or operation.
An ideal example of the use of the patented technology of the thermolysis unit is the RecyMedic device designed for the disposal of hospital, infectious and hazardous waste, of course directly at its place of origin.
Hospitals all over the world save millions of lives every day while producing specific waste that must be specially transported to the place of its disposal (incinerator) or its transformation into ordinary waste, which is subsequently deposited in landfills. Our RecyMedic device can process all hospital waste (with the exception of food and human tissues) at a specific temperature and molecular decomposition process and supply heat and electricity directly to the hospital. Hospitals thus eliminate the costs of transporting and disposing of dangerous and infectious material, and at the same time, they use their own waste to produce energy that they do not have to purchase. The return on investment in the RecyMedic thermolysis unit (in the context of the specifics of each hospital or network of hospitals and clinics) is on average 3 years.
The economic benefit of the technology is:
• reduction of ADR transport costs
• reduction of waste disposal costs
• optimization of waste storage (immediate disposal)
• production of electricity, heat, carbon for industrial use
• emission-free waste processing
The social benefit of technology is:
• direct disposal of waste through energy recovery
• reducing the carbon footprint (by eliminating ADR transport)
• introduction of the waste-to-energy principle
• introduction of the circular economy principle
• decarbonisation of waste management
• increase in employment
• the possibility of processing any waste
The market potential is represented by every hospital with a capacity from 30 tons of waste per month.
The device can also be used for humanitarian purposes at places where refugee or humanitarian centers are being built, places with humanitarian, natural disasters or war zones, where it is necessary to prevent outbreaks and the spread of diseases.
